About Me

Originally from Manchester, I began taking photos in 2013, coincidentally the year I lost my father to cancer. 2 months before he passed I took this portrait of him with a very basic speedlight and umbrella setup, it’s by no means perfect, but it’s a portrait I cherish and will always have somewhere on my website.

This experience instilled in me the importance of a good portrait, to create a permanent reminder of who we were at a very specific time. Of course portraits can be practical; LinkedIn profiles, online content, dating apps, acting portfolios etc. But even when we’re shooting for a practical reason, I will endeavour to create images that are true to who you are right here, right now.
